Core Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop and support the projects, programs and policies that create an environmentally sustainable future, manage EH&S risk, and drive quality.
  • Serve as lead subject matter expert for the Quality Assurance, Risk Management and ISO 14001 EMS program.
  • Participate in planning efforts for future quality audits, ISO self-assessments and risk management determinations.
  • Develop corrective actions and quality improvement projects for implementation.
  • Engage in risk management analysis, in particular as it relates to processes and programs, and support the other work.
  • of the Section as needed.
  • Review, edit, support, and initiate program white papers around environmental sustainability.
  • Initiate, consult, and support R&D projects in environmental sustainability.
  • Extract, analyze, trend and present data relevant to environmental sustainability, risk management and QA.
  • Participate in industry events and seminars.
  • Manage project and programs including scheduling, milestones and goals, progress reports, appropriations and accounting, and closeout.
  • Maintains and promotes a team sense of initiative, ingenuity, and enthusiasm for growing green.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Biology,
  • Chemistry, Physics,
  • Data Science, Sustainability or
  • Environmental Science And two (2) years minimum Or

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree Engineering, Biology,
  • Chemistry, Physics,
  • Data Science, Sustainability or
  • Environmental Science And One (1) year minimum Quality-related certifications and/or training (ISO Lead Auditor; Quality auditor, ISO 9001 or 14001)

Relevant Work Experience

  • Proficiency in project management and the use of associate tools (e.g. Microsoft
  • Project). Required
  • Demonstrate an understanding of company operations. Required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Required
  • Previous project and program management experience Required
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Required
  • Demonstrate analytical skills. Required
  • Ability to complete multiple assignments with changing priorities while still meeting
  • deadlines. Required
  • Ability to learn new technologies as required for the job using documentation and
  • other available resources as required. Required
  • Work experience with specific experience in environmental sustainability Preferred
