Core Responsibilities
- Apply your AV/IT and collaboration technology knowledge, skills, and expertise to support technology in our conference/multi-purpose rooms, and collaboration infrastructure, and serve as technology POC working with cross-functional teams for special events
- You will work independently and/or with technical staff including employees, contractors to monitor, troubleshoot and support all facets of the infrastructure including Poly/TEAMS conferencing, audio/video endpoints and peripherals across 100+ sites in NYC, Westchester NY, and Orange and Rockland service area
- Track and manage support tickets, including break/fix, answer 'how-to' questions, train end users, perform move/add/change work, and investigate communication application issues
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing AV equipment and infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions, as well as quality reviews to evaluate new implementations for conformance with design specifications
- Monitor and address infrastructure and application alerts, collect and interpret packet captures, troubleshoot and/or escalate issue issues to SMEs, vendors, and/or carriers
- Lead or participate in infrastructure and end-point upgrades, end-of-life device replacement support, maintain deployment plans/schedules, and make improvement recommendations
- Assess the impact of vendor vulnerability advisories and remediate exposures
- Author documentation including network diagrams, policies, and procedures, and maintain documentation related to AV systems, including equipment inventory, wiring diagrams, and system configurations
- Assist in developing and tracking project and program budgets for infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or retirements
- Must be flexible and able to work off-hours as required to support deployments, resolve production problems or respond to corporate emergencies
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (3) years of IT experience or and Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (3) years of IT experience or or
- Associate's Degree Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (3) years of IT experience or and Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (5) years of IT experience or or
- High School Diploma/GED and Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering and with a minimum of (7) years of IT experience or
Relevant Work Experience
- Implementation and operational AV/IT experience with video conferencing and work collaboration technologies (Poly, Teams, WebEx) Required
- Hands-on experience deploying/supporting Videoconferencing room solutions including Crestron, Extron, Poly, Cisco, RealConnect for Teams conferencing platform, conference management software, cables/routers, endpoint devices, and peripherals X Required
- Working knowledge of Polycom/Poly video and endpoints such as Group Series, G7500, and Studio X and Polycom ''core'' applications including DMA and Resource Manager X Required
- Proven experience planning and working with executive team to design, configure, and setup AV systems for large events and provide onsite support to troubleshoot/resolve issues Required
- Understanding essential services including LAN, Data Center and Communications Systems and working with IT sub groups Required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Project, PowerPoint, and Publisher and Adobe Pro tools including PhotoShop and Final Cut Pro Required

Physical Demands
- Must push, pull, lift up to 40 pounds
- Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift
- Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to use hands for entire shift
