Core Responsibilities

  • The Senior Specialist will commit to the ideals of developing a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among both internal and external customers.. The Senior Specialist will assist in developing and/or updating procedures which will enhance the customer experience.
  • As a member of the CES Rate Implementation team in Rate Engineering, the Senior Specialist will develop and manage all communications required to ensure successful implementation of new rate designs.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making, and present updates on rate implementation to various internal stakeholders including senior management, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to build a rate comparison tool which will provide customers with insight into the most beneficial rates they are eligible for, and ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Participate on various cross-functional teams to adhere to all requirements and ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints for the completion of Pilot evaluation.
  • The Senior Specialist will be responsible for multiple aspects of the pilot from execution and evaluation to performing analysis on customer retention post pilot end date, and will provide support to team members to ensure successful implementation.
  • Prepare, with minimal supervision, regulatory submissions, reports and interrogatory responses in rate cases as well as monthly reports on customer digital experience participation, periodic reconciliations of enrollment/de-enrollments, and price guarantee data.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and accurate records, practice good housekeeping, follow Company safety procedures, and safeguard computers, digital files, reports and work papers.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, Information Technology, or Related Discipline and 5-8 years related work experience. Professional communications management, digital media, and SharePoint experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree MS Communications, MA Public Media preferred. and 3-5 years related work experience.

Relevant Work Experience

  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Required
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze and resolve stakeholder related issues. Required
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the ability to effectively interact with customers, 3rd party vendors, and all levels of management.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Share Point, digital media experience. Required
  • Working knowledge of regulatory processes such as preparation of rate proceedings, responding to commission orders and responses to interrogatories preferred. Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Company procedures and policies with regard to customer billing and customer service. Preferred

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
