Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, control, and direct the completion of FFS projects including Trimble Manhattan One IWMS upgrade and implementation projects while ensuring that such projects are completed on time, on budget and within scope
  • Prepare and analyze critical path schedules using computer-based scheduling tools and implement project according to planned time frames, and identify recovery options if delays encountered
  • Utilize, maintain and implement integrated work management applications (such as, but not limited to, Maximo or Trimble Manhattan One IWMS) for Facilities & Field Services
  • Review, manipulate, interpret, develop reports and present on real estate, capital projects and other facilities specific matters
  • Initiate purchase requisitions and work with Supply Chain and other departments, as appropriate, to assure timely processing and completion
  • Work with internal organizations (ex: FFS, Information Technology, Engineering, Construction, etc.) and external stakeholders (ex: vendors, contractors)
  • Point of contact with other FFS staff to support their software application issues
  • Support Real Estate projects (such as Space/Portfolio optimization) and other initiatives
  • Procure supplies and equipment, as necessary
  • Monitor O&M and Capital expenditures to ensure budget guidelines are met
  • Conduct periodic research and undertake benchmarking to remain current on Project Management best practices, IWMS developments, and other facilities and capital project issues
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, Real Estate Finance, Business or Project Management And 3 years of relevant work experience in IT, commercial real estate and facilities project planning/management projects and systems Or
  • Associate's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, Real Estate Finance, Business or Project Management And 4 years of relevant work experience in IT, commercial real estate and facilities project planning/management projects and systems

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Work Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial real estate and/or facilities project planning/management projects and systems, including working with related IWMS databases. Required
  • Proven record in the preparation, project management and implementation, on schedule and within budget, of various IT, Real Estate and Facilities projects, including development of project plans, analysis, design, testing, training and implementation. Required
  • Proficiency with use of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, and TEAMs. Required
  • Adept at using the internet for communication and research. Required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various levels of management, union personnel, internal and external customers as well as vendors and outside agencies. Required
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities. Required
  • Demonstrated ability to accept challenges and use creative thinking to analyze data and recommend solutions. Required
  • Strong strategic leadership and judgment skills and the ability to demonstrate professional demeanor and confidence dealing with all levels of personnel. Required
  • A commitment to customer service. Required
  • Must demonstrate a positive work ethic in support of the Company's Corporate Values and Mission. Required
  • Experience with developing and implementing change management strategies, inclusive of stakeholder training. Preferred
  • Project Management Certification, e.g., CPM and PMP, and experience in IT and project budgeting/finance. Preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle (Primavera) Unifier, including P6. Preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of scheduling and financial software (Oracle). Preferred
  • Use of CAD. Pref

  • Driver's License Required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Upon Hire Preferred

  • Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory; as needed.
  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment and storm planning as may be needed to restore service to our customers. System Emergency Assignment could include the need to report and work in the field during system or storm emergency events.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and off shift hours, as needed
