Core Responsibilities

  • Join a fast growing and dynamic team and support one of the country's largest electric vehicle (EV) incentive program
  • The Work Verification Sr. Specialist for EV Program Integration will be responsible for implementing consistent, equitable, and practical QA/QC for work verifications for PowerReady projects
  • Support the development of a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers and EV station developers
  • Identify trends, challenges or opportunities in customer-side construction implementation and costs to make recommendations that can improve PowerReady cost efficiency, operations, or procedures
  • Develop a strategy to optimize work verifications to ensure sufficient oversight while balancing demands on financial and human resources
  • Design work verification reports to provide sufficient information for the program team to ascertain work was completed by PowerReady participants as indicated in their applications
  • Develop and implement a statistical QA/QC based strategy for in-person and remote/virtual work verification and manage data collected
  • Procure and manage third party contractors or a contract with a work verification firm who will be responsible conducting site visits
  • Support coordination between EV Team and other Con Edison personnel, as applicable, for site visits
  • Refine work verification processes and tools as needed to improve reporting, workflows, or participant experience
  • Identify program, market, and technology trends that could impact internal business or system operations
  • Support implementation of enhancements to program portal or reporting by identifying work verification business needs
  • Collaborate closely with EV program team and work effectively in cross-functional teams responsible for new department initiatives that may arise from time to time
  • Provide problem solving and strategic support to the department, including in advising on work verification for new EV programs
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree And 3 years work experience
  • 1 year of general engineering and design or construction project experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Degree in engineering or sustainability disciplines And 3 years Project management experience or measurement and verification experience in one of the following: EV/Energy efficiency/clean energy programs, design or construction

Required Work Experience

  • 1 year of engineering and design or construction project experience Required
  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues who have a diverse set of experiences and approaches in order to drive business results Required
  • Demonstrated organizational capabilities and successful management of detailed, complex initiatives Required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tense, complex, or technical customer issues in a calm, thorough, and professional manner Required
  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Required
  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence Required
  • Experience in EVSE station development Preferred
  • Clean energy, energy efficiency, or EV program management experience Pref

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
